Mumbai’s dining scene is about to get a taste of the Middle East as Pondichéry Café at Sofitel Mumbai BKC hosts Flavours of Arabia, a special culinary residency celebrating authentic Arabian and Lebanese cuisine this May.
The limited-time experience is led by Chef Mazen Abdallah, Chef de Cuisine at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk. Bringing over two decades of culinary expertise from Lebanon and the UAE, Chef Mazen’s menu blends traditional Levantine recipes with contemporary presentation and seasonal ingredients.

Guests can expect a rich spread of classic mezze, live cooking stations, charcoal-grilled delicacies, signature mains, and indulgent Arabic desserts, all crafted to reflect the warmth and generosity of Arabian hospitality. From smoky kebabs and creamy hummus to fragrant rice dishes and sweet Middle Eastern favourites, the residency promises an immersive dining experience for Mumbai food lovers.
The collaboration between Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk and Sofitel Mumbai BKC also highlights Sofitel’s Cultural Link philosophy, bringing together global culinary traditions through food and storytelling.
The dinner residency runs from 22nd to 30th May at 7 PM onwards, followed by a special signature brunch on 31st May from 12:30 PM onwards at Pondichéry Café.
